Digital Preservation Policy
The Edu-Tech Enterprise journal is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published content. To achieve this, the journal implements the following digital preservation strategies:
-
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides free, distributed preservation of content for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). Through PKP PN, all published articles are automatically preserved in a secure, decentralized network of archival nodes. -
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
The journal enables preservation through the LOCKSS program, which allows libraries to collect, preserve, and provide access to the journal’s content using a decentralized archiving system. This ensures redundancy and long-term accessibility. -
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
In addition, the journal supports CLOCKSS, a global dark archive developed by libraries and publishers. In the event that the journal ceases publication or becomes otherwise unavailable, CLOCKSS ensures the content remains accessible under an open access license. -
Institutional and Self-Archiving
Authors are allowed and encouraged to deposit published versions of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or disciplinary archives, provided proper citation and link to the original publication are maintained. -
Metadata Preservation
All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and registered with Crossref, ensuring persistent identification and retrievability of metadata across indexing and citation platforms. -
File Formats and Integrity
Articles are preserved in multiple standard file formats (PDF, XML, HTML) to ensure continued accessibility as technologies evolve. Regular backups are maintained to protect against data loss.
