Anti-Plagiarism Policy

Commitment to Originality

The Edu-Tech Enterprise journal is fully committed to originality, academic integrity, and respect for intellectual property. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts are subject to a similarity check using Turnitin software.

Use of Turnitin

  • All articles submitted to the journal are analyzed with Turnitin before being sent for peer review.

  • The report generated by the system is carefully reviewed by the editorial team to distinguish between legitimate matches (properly cited references, bibliography, common technical expressions) and problematic matches (copied text without attribution).

Accepted Similarity Threshold

  • The total similarity score allowed in the similarity report must be less than or equal to 15%.

  • If a manuscript exceeds this threshold, it will be returned to the authors for revision or, in serious cases, rejected for non-compliance with the editorial policy.

Specific Cases

  • Minor matches: If the percentage slightly exceeds 15% but is mainly due to bibliography, correct citations, or technical expressions, the editorial committee will assess the manuscript’s validity.

  • Significant unjustified matches: If direct plagiarism, excessive self-plagiarism, or intentional text manipulation is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.

  • In cases of recurrence or detection after publication, the journal may apply its retraction policy and notify the relevant institutions.

Authors’ Responsibility

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors:

  • Declare that the work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Commit to properly citing all sources used.

  • Accept the mandatory analysis with Turnitin as part of the editorial process.
